Germany to Allocate 1.2m for Strengthening Georgia's Power System

Under which Government of Germany will allocate 1.Two million EUR grant to Georgia through Reconstruction Credit Institute of Germany (KfW).

The agreement requires strengthening Guria transmission infrastructur of Tskaltubo-Akhaltsikhe-Torturm 500/400 Kv electricity transmission line and preparing feasibility studies for Northern Chain Tskaltubo.

Moreover, feasibility studies of North-South Energy Corridor Project was signed? for financing consultation services. The grant amount is 200 000 EUR.

“This project will arrange a very good energy chain that may strengthen stability and steadiness of power system? your country. I’d like to express deep gratitude to Government of Germany for support of the important projects in Georgia”, Sulkhan Zumburidze, head of GSE Board of Managers noted.
