According to Ministry of Economy, the agreement will enable Georgian side to complete regular flights within the biggest international airports of India, namely in these cities as – Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore.
However, regular flights were merely performed in Delhi. The agreement is achieved on 21 flights in a week from both sides for the first stage. It ought to be noted, that in the latest memorandum, flight frequency involving the countries continues to be determined Four times.
The Ministry explains, that signing of bilateral intergovernmental agreement relating to the parties anytime soon can create the legal basis to start direct flights between Georgia and India, which experts claim will help with the introduction of tourism, as well as to enhance cooperation in trade, investment along with areas.
